"Dol-Jac didn’t always sell propane. Over 50 years ago, we built campers, fifth wheels and houseboats, one of which can still be found doing missionary work on the Amazon River. People wanted to refill their camper tanks for their stoves and appliances but, at the time, there was nobody in the Ovid area that sold propane. For this reason, we installed a small fill station at our headquarters. As the demand grew, so did we, and we replaced our 500-gallon tank to a 1000-gallon tank. Before too long, we undertook routes delivering 100-pound cylinders. Eventually, we grew to the need of having two 18,000-gallon tanks, but in 2005, we added one last tank to hold 30,000 more gallons.

We are proud to say since the very beginning, that we are a small family business and we do it all on our own, without any corporate help. I take great pride in treating everyone the same, like I've known you for years. My goal is to give exceptional service at a fair price. I like to think that we can all get along together and make the world a better place."
